Dionysus
From Legendary Journeys
- See also Bacchus another god of wine.
Dionysus was the Greek god of wine.
For a thousand years, Dionysus watched over the nation of Meliad. Every year the Festival of Dionysus would be held and Dionysus would let his will be known. He would decide whether or not the King of Meliad would keep his throne or be killed by his virgin priestesses. (HTLJ: "The Festival of Dionysus")
