Higuchi is a large villiage, located in Jappa. Akemi's family shrine is situated here. Akemi asks Xena to take her ashes here and place them in the shrine.
It is here that Xena accidentally starts a fire and causes the death of 40,000 people. Yodoshi, Akemi's now deceased father, traps this souls and torments them, until Xena returns over 30 years later and sets them free, but must stay dead herself to keep them in serenity and peace.
