Melinda Patrice Clarke was born on April 24th, 1969 in Dana Point, California, USA. She is best known for playing Julie Cooper-Nichol in The O.C., but is best known in the Xenaverse for playing the psychotic amazon-turned God Velasca in two episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess.
Melinda is a well-established actress on American television; as well as her aforementioned role on The O.C., she is also known for her role as Faith Taylor on popular daytime soap The Days of Our Lives and as Kelly Donovan on The Vampire Diaries. She has also had roles on shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Eli Stone, Reaper and Chuck. She was recently in the CW hit TV series, Nikita based on the 1990 french action film of the same name playing the role of Helen Collins or better known as Amanda, a psychopathic manipulator as a series regular.
