From Legendary Journeys
The Universal Action Pack was a series of television movies and series created by Universal Studios and aired in syndication several times starting in 1994.
A series of 4 movies starring Greg Evigan as Jake Cardigan were created, and served as pilots for TekWar: the Series which eventually took its place late in 1994.
A series of 4 movies starring Russell Wong as Jian-Wa Chang were created, and served as pilots for Vanishing Son: the Serieswhich eventually took its place in 1995.
A series of 5 movies starring Kevin Sorbo as Hercules were created, and served as pilots for Hercules: The Legendary Journeys which eventually took its place in early 1995.
Hercules: The Legendary Journeys in its first year spun off Lucy Lawless's character of Xena in Xena: Warrior Princess which started Fall of 1995.
The most unsuccessful pilots of Universal's Action Pack were Knight Rider 2010 and The Adventures of Captain Zoom in Outer Space.
Although Bandit had four movies and Midnight Run had three movies, neither of these had any television series.
