Kronos's father is mentioned by Ares when Kronos overthrew his father but is not called by his name, in myth his name is Uranus couple of Gaea, and the father of the Titans with Gaea.
Kronos is presumed to have killed him when Kronos, removed one his own rib and pierced the heavens with it, letting in sunlight, which fell like blood.
